Rachel & Mark’s Wedding

Rachel & Mark had a cloudy, fall Ohio day for their wedding at her families lovely church Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland. For fun, creative photos we headed down Browns stadium and near Voinovich Park with photog Larry Spencer and got some great shots, I really like the dark, fall clouds in the background! Then we all headed to the reception at Richfield Banquet Center for dinner, dancing and some singing! :-)

Best wishes to Rachel and Mark and we hope you enjoy watching the highlight! Pass: RachelMark

Last May we donated our videography and photography services to the Private Heath Warner Memorial Day Run in Canton, Ohio and the promo video is newly featured on the website! This was our way of paying it forward. Thank you to all the brave men and women of our military fighting each day to keep us safe, and free. We also remember and honor the loved ones lost…you all are forever our heroes!

Stephanie and Dave’s wedding day was simply lovely! We started off the day shooting at Stephanie’s parents house, getting ready shots are always a great way to start the wedding story and Stephanie made a touching call to her grandma who is in a nursing home and couldn’t share in her day, which had me tearing up. Their ceremony was at St. Vincent Church, a gorgeous Catholic church in Akron. The rain was looming over head so we got a few outdoor photos with photog Tiffany Swift then we all headed to St. George’s Fellowship Centre in Akron where everyone ate well and was taken care of by coordinator Joe Catalono…Then the dance floor filled up and they all boogied as Big Ear Entertainment spun the tunes!

Big Thanks to Stephanie and Dave for asking us to be there on your special day, and for your friendship! Best wishes as another new chapter begins with your new baby on the way! :-) Password: StephDave

Kristy and Nate are such a cute couple! We first met them at the Today’s Bride Bridal show, Kristy and I got to talking and hit it off immediately. Then luckily they picked us to be their videographers and from the moment the 4 of us met, we instantly felt like we’d known them for a long time.

The day of their wedding was a bit chilly outside, but a gorgeous Ohio fall day with all the leaves changing. We shot their lovely Catholic ceremony at St. Patrick’s in Kent and then moved over to the Acker Moore Banquet Hall for some serious dancing with friends and family. We love when everyone can let the their hair down and just have a good time…and Kristy & Nate had a blast!

We wish Kristy & Nate many happy years together, what a truly great couple!
We hope you enjoy watching their special day as much as we did spending it with them. Password: KristyNate

Raw footage is something we get asked about from time to time, and I always feel a little bad telling people that we don’t offer the raw footage in our package.  Some people are disappointed by that.  But we have a really good reason for not offering that footage: it isn’t something you’ll want to watch.  If you’re looking for that fleeting glimpse of your Great Aunt as she eats her cherished slice of wedding cake, it may or not be in the raw footage. You can rest assured though, that if I have a really cute shot of your Great Aunt, it will be in the final edit.  And if there are special people or things that you know you want in your video, just let us know, and we’ll shoot it.  We’ve been hired by you, to shoot for you!

For a typical wedding, we shoot anywhere from six to ten hours of footage.  We’ll usually edit that down to a 30 minute highlight video of your entire day.  This works out to about the same balance for motion pictures.  It takes four to six months to shoot a standard 90 minute film.  A lot of that raw footage gets thrown out for the sake of keeping the story and the pace moving so that you don’t get bored watching the movie.  We look at our edits the same way.  We want it to be a retelling of your wedding day, but we also want it to be something you’ll show your family 20, 30, or even 50 years from now.  If it’s boring, then you won’t want to watch it again, and that’s the last thing we want.

So we really look at it like the raw footage is just that, raw.  If it’s a good shot, then we’ll get it into the edit.  After all, that’s what we’re there for.  We’ll get the shots that will make your wedding story great.  And watching shots of the floor, trying to focus, or seven attempts to get the perfect cake shot just won’t be entertaining to watch.  We’d hate to charge you extra just to sit through shots that should be on the cutting room floor.

Thanks!
Bob

Mandy and Ryan’s wedding day was so lovely…they had picture perfect weather. We started off the day shooting at Mandy’s Matron of Honor’s house and what a great, welcoming family she has! There was make-up, Mamosa’s and lots of laughs! Their ceremony was at Holy Family Church, a gorgeous Catholic church down in Poland, and then we went down to the park for some fun pics with Ken Love Photography. Then it was time to relax and party at The Georgetown in Boardman where everyone ate well and danced the night away to the tunes of Special Request.

We’re so glad Mandy and Ryan had a great day, and thanks for asking us to be a apart of it…we loved getting to know you both! :-) Password: MandyRyan
