Reel Memories Article

Here’s a great article from Today’s Bride online to read over if you’re deciding on Videography for your wedding day!

Reel Memories from Today’s Bride

Here’s a wonderful email we got from our bride, Nicole’s awesome Mom:

“Hi Bob and Krista-
After all the planning, rushing around and stressing out I just have to let you know that we were so lucky to have found you. We are 100% sure that we made the right choice. You two were ever so professional yet we had the feeling that “friends” were taking care of us and it was as if we knew you forever, this along with your obvious skills throughout Nicole and Mikey’s special day leaves us with nothing but excitement to see what the final product will be. Our only regret is not deciding sooner to have videographers so we could have gotten to know you better.
Perhaps we will see you around town but for sure if I hear of anyone considering videographers I will shout your names form the rooftops.

Thanks again so much for everything,
Mike and Lisa (Father and Mother of the Bride!)”

Come visit our booth at the Today’s Bride Akron/Canton Show @ the Sheraton Suites this Sunday, Oct. 18th, 09 from 10-4 p.m. You never know what fun things are planned unless you come!

Hope to See you then! :-)

-Bob & Krista

Bob and I had a great time at the Today’s Bride Show on Sunday! We also had wonderful volunteer Vanessa to help us talk to brides at our booth. We shot Vanessa and Todd’s wedding in March and she was so cool to offer to help us at the show. She’s awesome, beautiful and has a wonderful family! Thanks again for your help Vanessa!

We met a bunch of great brides-to-be…thanks for everyone that stopped by our booth and we hope to hear from many of you soon. It was nice to see our vendor friends and to hear the show had a great turn out :-)

See some pics we shot of us and our friends Stacy & Stephanie at Paper Persuasions. Also enjoy the time-lapse video we created. 6 hours = 826 photos = a 2 min. time-lapse video!

My family loved you guys and I cant wait to see the video. You guys were great , I have no doubt the video will be spectacular, thanks for everything again!!!!

Get to know Pam and Jon…watch their Love Story interview and see why they are such great people! :-) During Pam and Jon’s Love Story interview we also shot some footage of them rock climbing at Kendall Cliffs Climbing Gym (one of their fav hobbies to do together) and there’s also a fun little rock video we put together for them!

Here’s an email we just received from Jen and Drew ::tearing up:: This is what makes our job so special and rewarding! :-)

Bob & Krista –
You were the easiest vendor to work with since day one that we chose you for our wedding day, when we initially booked you 7 months in advance, you were always sending emails asking how the plans are coming and really befriended us and took a very serious interest in our wedding plans and the whole theme of the wedding day.

When it came down to finalizations; your consultative suggestions like the garden wedding harpist suggestion were extremely useful and we are so glad we went that route.. we owe that all to you guys.  Bob; you were not messing around when it came time to get a special moment from just Drew and I talking and hanging out to that special couple on the dance floor.. And Krista – you standing back with me at the reception, taking the time to stand with me and absorb it all.. was truly something I’ll never forget.. you were like a sister to me on that day…always seeing how I was doing and how I was feeling, got me water when no one else was taking the hint and making me smile and seeing the good in everything.. You both were prompt, on time and ready to action! Truly, you were the only vendor, we felt had no questions and just got it and understood what we wanted to portray for our special day. You were so professional too – and the guests made several excellent comments about Focus on You Video. You both have found your special gift.. Nice job.. and Thank you so much for everything,

- Jen & Drew

Jaxon, is my good friend Darcy’s son…and he’s our lil’ buddy! She asked if I could take some 1 year pics of him (I’m no photographer, but I love photography and thought I would give it a shot). Of course in true kid fashion, he didn’t want to sit still so I went with the candid shots! We played in his car…in his little house…and in the pool. He just loves the water. You can see a few of his teeth coming in and for all the teething he’s going through he was in a pretty good mood…Isn’t he just the cutest boy!! :-)

Jenny & Damon’s wedding was last weekend and we just adore them and their wonderful families (aren’t they so cute)!

We were watching the radar all afternoon and the storms just kept rolling in and then Jenny said “Okay guys I just talked to Damon and we’ve decided to rock it out in the rain, so let’s go!” So we all headed over to the Hungarian Cultural Garden for the ceremony with umbrellas in hand. It was pretty rainy, but so warm with all the friends and family that showed up huddled under their umbrellas to be a part of Jenny and Damon’s wedding…rain or shine they were all there! Immediately after the minister announced them husband and wife they walked out from under their huge golf umbrella and the rain stopped! We ended up with a wonderful sunny evening for outdoor pics with our photog friend Elizabeth Pruitt and lots of fun at the reception with Rick & the Cutting Edge Band…they rocked the house!

Congrats Jenny and Damon…Have a great honeymoon in Europe!

Also, here’s a thank you note from Nicole (the grooms sister who hired us as their wedding gift)

“Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say THANK YOU!!! You guys rocked on video for Damon & Jenny. In fact, as we said goodbye to Damon the next morning, he declared the two of you to be his favorite vendor of the day. Kudos to you both…we… all just adored you. You made a crazy day MUCH smoother. Thanks for “going with the flow” and making all the adjustments you did. Now we can’t wait to see the video!!”

Here’s Bob and I Rockin’ out Jenny & Damon’s wedding in the rain! Thanks for the pics Nicole and Jay :-)

Lisa and Mike had a lovely wedding down in Massillon on July 11th and they both looked great!

That was a pretty stormy Saturday and the thunderstorms moved across the area all afternoon, but luckily right after the ceremony the rain stopped for their bubble exit and gave us the opportunity to shoot some outdoor photos/video at the McKinley monument with their crazy/fun wedding party.

We had a great time spending the day with Lisa and Mike. Congrats you two! :-)
